I finally found a coffee table that will work for a while... It does need some refinishing and I’m actually thinking of painting it pink... I’m still looking for my perfect coffee table, but I really, truly needed one... I just couldn’t sit in my living room staring at the blank there....

| I really think this would look amazing in pink... |
Oh, and I also found me an amazing planter!!! It’s late sixties and must have belonged in some office building or something... I love it!! I actually spotted it from afar and just had to run and get it...

I’m actually sitting in my living room tonight... Just looking out the window and enjoying the quiet and the way the place is starting to feel...
Will go fix me a drink now... Later guys!!

Yes I think PINK would be good, it would stand out, and that planter, very retro Lena! I love retro! I sure wish you were here, my favorite thrift store has tons of used furniture, cheap and most of it is in great condition. They get it from auctions. You'd have fun there! Hope you enjoyed your evening! The room looks great!

Incredibly chic. I am not at all surprised. You are a woman with fantastic taste and style. I love how the room feels comfortable, warm, welcoming, chic and with some wonderful mid-century touches. It is not easy to create a room that has all those elements. You did it!!
ReplyDeleteLove the plantar. It would make a lovely home for an extra-large cocktail.;-)

Hi Di!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!I love thrift stores and estate sales... I would never buy new furniture... I know it sounds crazy... But I have this idea that they don't make things the way they used to...
